Son of Kenny Cameron who played for Dundee during the 1960’s, Dougie is a left sided midfielder who is also capable of filling in at left back. A product of the Dundee youth system, Dougie spent the 2002-2003 season on loan at Peterhead, notching up 27 appearances and one goal in the process. The following season Dougie found himself elevated to the first team in the aftermath of Dundee’s entry into administration. He made 11 first team appearances that season for Dundee, mainly at left back. Is very comfortable on the ball and will fit well into Forfar’s style of play.

Dougie made 6 sub appearances and one start for Forfar while on loan at the club.
