The vastly experienced defender was signed by Dick Campbell just prior to the start of the pre season fixtures. Stuart who began his career as a teenager at St Johnstone has also served four other Scottish League Clubs, Plymouth Argyle and for the past three seasons, four League of Ireland clubs, Finn Harps being the most recent.

On medical advice Stuart left the club in September 2009 and has retired from the game.
