Biography
Craig had always plied his trade in his local area of Fife, starting his career with Dunfermline before moving to East Fife in September 2002. A four season spell at New Bayview saw “Lummy” accure just under 90 appearances for the Methil side, scoring six times in the process.
Although originally signed as a centre half / right back, then Loons manager George Shaw threw a curve ball for the 2006-07 season opener against Stranraer – deploying Craig in a striking role! Craig made 23 appearances that season, finding the net on 3 occasions. The following season, under Jim Moffat, Craig begun the season in the striking role, but injury saw him limited to making 10 starts for the Loons – the majority of which were in a defensive role.
Was released in October 2008
A tireless player who never fails to give 100% for the cause, Craig can cause real problems in the air for the opposition defence.
