Biography
“Bruno” was signed by former manager Neil Cooper following former keeper Stuart Garden’s move to Notts County in 2001.
Michael started his senior career at Manchester City, before making a move to Motherwell. A move to Partick Thistle was to follow in 2000, with the move to Station Park coming a year later. Took time to settle into the Loons side, but has gone on to prove himself as one of the most skilful keepers to grace the Station Park surface. Michael has been unlucky with injury, dislocating his left shoulder on more than one occasion. However Michael was fully fit when he helped the Loons to a famous penalty shoot out victory over his former club Motherwell in the CIS Cup a few years back. Confidence at fielding crosses, along with superb shot stopping ability saw Michael attract the interest of other clubs over the summer period. Was voted as the supporters “Away Player of the Year” in season 2005/2006.
After five seasons at Station Park, Michael left in the Summer of 2006 to join Raith Rovers.
